The Arboretum
The Arboretum, located to the north of the building, dates back to 1831, the year in which hills and plateaus were modeled with the aim of creating a romantic grove for walks. Around those same years, about a hundred tree species were planted, some of which are still present today: Fagus sylvatica, Taxus baccata, Ginkgo biloba, Cedrus libani And Quercus robur.
The Arboretum also hosts species belonging to the native forests of the Po Valley, a Tertiary entity, an Apiary and a collection of ancient fruit trees belonging to the pomological collection by Garnier Valletti.
