Rules for the visitors

 

Inside the Garden and the Arboretum:

  1. IT IS ALLOWED TO:
  • Enter the greenhouses with backpacks (the bulkier ones must be carried by hand)
  • Keep dogs on a leash (any excrement must be collected)
  • Take photos of plants and animals (be careful with the flash so as not to disturb the animals)

We invite you to share the photographs taken during your visit on your social channels, tagging @ortobotanicotorino: we will be very happy to see your shots!

  1. IT IS NOT ALLOWED TO:
  • Use bicycles, roller skates, scooters, etc.
  • Abandon rubbish
  • Have a picnic
  • Pick or damage plants, flowers and fruit
  • Touch or disturb our goose, Cornelio
  • Chasing or annoying other wild animals present in the garden (mallards, herons, squirrels, hares, etc.)
  1. PAY ATTENTION (especially if you are accompanying children):
  • To plants with thorns and toxic plants 
  • To the tubs with water

The internal staff of the Botanical Garden and the Department is authorized to check that no damage and/or removal occurs and that the regulations are respected.

Violators will be asked to leave the Botanical Garden.

For safety reasons, it is recommended to leave the Arboretum 15 minutes before closing time.
