TOURS AVAILABLE FOR SCHOOLS
During the visit, the history of the garden is described, the flowerbeds of the main families of plants that are of particular interest (food, ornamental, medicinal, systematic...) and the thematic collections (Alpine forest, Greenhouse of South Africa, Succulent greenhouse, the trees in the avenue, the aquatic plants in the tanks, the medicinal and aromatic herbs).
For schools, the paths will be differentiated according to the level of education.
The main tree and shrub species present will be described, with particular attention to the species of the lowland forest and to the fruit cultivars linked to the Garnier Valletti pomological collection.
In the Grove it will also be possible to observe the recently introduced apiary and, upon request, delve deeper into the topic of bee society.
It is possible to carry out the one-hour journey on the "100 plants useful to man" in which some food, textile, dyeing, medicinal and perfume plants will be described and observed which in the past, but still today, constitute an important heritage for man and his survival.
The route winds through the flowerbeds of the Garden.
For the little ones it is possible to take a tour of the Grove with a path created "ad hoc" inserted within a fairy tale in which the different characters will be represented by the plants that will be encountered along the path.
For each species, the main characteristics favored by direct observation will be highlighted.

This is a recommended path for secondary school which will highlight the evolutionary steps that have characterized the flora on Earth. The visit will take place in Garden in which, in addition to the direct observation of the characters of the main plant groups (Bryophytes, Pteridophytes, Gymnosperms, Angiosperms) the evolutionary convergences of different plant species (e.g. succulent plants) under the same environmental stress will be highlighted
