Activities at the Botanical Garden

The Botanical Garden pursues the purpose of spreading botanical knowledge, therefore among the activities it organizes annually there are:

 

- Guided tours on weekends and holidays and thematic guided tours on a monthly basis ("100 plants useful to man", "Bees and honey plants", "The plant of the month", "The Guests of the Botanical Garden", " The Turin Botanical Garden from the Baroque garden to the landscape garden ", ...)

 

- Conferences, Seminars, Workshops, aimed at the public or specialists, in collaboration with the Department of Life Sciences and Systems Biology of the University of Turin, the Regional Museum of Natural Sciences of Turin and the Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta section of the Italian Botanical Society.

 

- Training courses (Tree and shrub recognition, Beekeeping, ...)

 

- Seasonal markets of plants multiplied in our greenhouses by our gardeners and volunteers

 

It also adheres to local, national and international cultural and popular events, such as the "Fascination of Plants Day", "Meeting in the Garden", organized by the Italian Parks and Gardens Association, "Open House Turin", etc.
