The greenhouse of tropical plants, restored in 1999, is called "Dutch style", due to its basement structure.
There are numerous tropical species in pots and many epiphytes. In particular, many Bromeliads are grown there, belonging to the genera Tillandsia, Aechmea and Bilbergia.
You can also admire many Orchidaceae that have long been cultivated in the Botanical Garden, so much so that they were represented by Lisa Mussino, a painter at the Garden between 1850 and 1864, in watercolor plates included in the volumes of the Iconographia Taurinensis.
